Effective date: October 19, 2026
Blueprinter ("InnerQuest", "we", "us") makes the InnerQuest app. This policy says what the app collects, why, where it goes, and how to delete it.
| Data | Why | Where it's kept |
|---|---|---|
| Account: Sign in with Apple ID or email address | Sign in, restore purchases, keep your charts across devices | Our server (Hetzner, Germany) |
| Your name | To label your chart | Our server, with your account |
| Your birth date, time (or "I don't know") and birth place | To calculate your chart, daily line and reports | Our server, with your account |
| Your onboarding answers (what brings you here, current situation) | To pick which career content you see first | Our server, with your account |
| Notification time | To send your daily line when you asked | On your phone; push token on our server |
| Purchase status (plan, trial, renewal, one-time purchases) | To unlock what you paid for | Apple processes payment. RevenueCat, Inc. (USA) receives receipts and your account ID. We never see card details |
| Journal entries | Your private reflections | On your phone only. Never uploaded |
| Friends' birth data | See below | See below |
We don't use device location (birth place is typed and looked up via autocomplete, which is handled by our own chart server using an open geocoder, so the app sends nothing to third parties for place search), contacts, photos, microphone or advertising IDs. The app has no ads and no third-party analytics.
When you add a friend or teammate, you enter their name, birth date, time and place. - Only add someone who has agreed. The app asks you to confirm "This person agreed to share their birth details with me" before saving. - Invite links: if your friend joins through your link, they enter their own details and choose to connect with you. You see their chart and your compatibility card, never their journal or account details. - No storage on our server for manual friends: birth data you type for a friend is sent to our chart server only to calculate the chart, is not saved there, and is not linked to that person. The friend's chart is stored on your phone. - We never contact a person you add, and never use their data for anything else. - Deleting a friend in the app removes their data from your phone.
Birth details go over HTTPS to a chart server operated by InnerQuest, hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany, which calculates positions with Swiss Ephemeris data. Because the server is in Germany, your data is processed outside your country. Server request logs record no request bodies and no birth data, and are deleted within 14 days.
We don't sell or rent personal information. We don't share it for advertising. We don't track you across other companies' apps or websites. We don't send your birth data or journal to any AI provider. If that ever changes, we will name the provider here and ask for your consent first.
Apple (payments, push notifications), RevenueCat (purchase status, https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy) and Hetzner (hosting). They process data only to provide their service to us and must protect it at least as well as this policy.
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
InnerQuest isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. Tell us and we'll delete it.
We'll post updates here with a new effective date and tell you in the app about material changes.
